South Austin Song Circle w/ the Texpats

Last decade Grace Pettis teamed up with BettySoo and Rebecca Loebe to create the exceptional harmonies and songwriting of Nobody’s Girl, and now she’s re-creating that magic with a new trio, wrangling Natalie Price and Rachel Laven to form the Texpats. All three songwriters have carved solid solo paths over the past few years, with Price’s dusky power bolstering her eponymous 2023 LP and Rachel Laven returning to the tender country melodies that marked 2017’s impressive Love & Luccheses, while Pettis’ Down to the Letter delivered a cathartic post-divorce declaration of independence.
