Nonprofit coding and career org Latinitas helps kick off this Hispanic Heritage Month with our local PBS station with a night celebrating Latin creativity and culture. Done in partnership with department store JCPenney, this evening offers not only live music and performances but also a first look at JCP’s new Hope & Wonder Collection, which they call “a vibrant tribute to the rich cultural tapestry of Latino communities.” There’ll also be refreshments and stories from Lantinitas’ students and their families. – James Scott
