Slid with Variety, New Strangers and Trashdog Live at The Cactus Cafe!

Slid is an indie rock band that emerged in 2023. After a year-and-a-half hiatus to regroup, they’re back in the saddle again *ready to rip. Variety is an ATX-based "arty punk" alternative-rock band led by Rhys Woodruff (of Borzoi), known for their album Subtropical and singles like "Plover". Variety offers a curated, "guitar pop" sound. New Strangers is a 3-piece post-punk band based in ATX featuring members Kyle Carpenter (vocals/guitar), Benton Kaufman (bass), and Nick Stout (drums). Known for an 80s/90s indie-influenced sound, releasing their debut album in 2024 Trashdog moves between styles, from grunge to 80's college rock.
