Last year, Silverada’s pedal steel maverick Zach Moulton left the recently rechristened roadhouse ramblers to cut his own music, so enter Parker Twomey to step in and add keys into the mix. The new lineup gives Silverada’s latest Living Proof a compelling Seventies Southern rock touch, but the band still churns on Mike Harmeier’s hard luck and harder-running country poetry of open roads and worn relationships. Setting the stage, the recently resurrected Weary Boys show off some new tunes of their own, previewing DARKHORSE, which marks the stringers’ seventh LP but first in nearly two decades.
