To be clear, I’m talking about the polystyrene sheets invented by Betty Morris and Kate Bloomberg in 1973. I am NOT talking about the former band name for Sugar Ray, aka Shrinky Dinx. No, no: These are those cute kits where you draw any shape you want on polystyrene, cut it out, and then subject it to such immense heat that it – well you know. It shrinks that dink. No need to bring your own dinks or otherwise to this crafting affair, as Austin Public Library provides all supplies. All you must bring is your own nostalgia for simpler times. – James Scott
