Even the gore-averse among us – myself included – will make a major exception for this 2004 feel-good zombie-comedy, its occasional blood spatters, brain-munchies, and other sundry grossouts all secondary to its true purpose, which is to make you laugh yourself silly. Coming off of the divine TV comedy Spaced, Edgar Wright (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) reconvened that show’s Simon Pegg and Nick Frost to star as best friends on a one-crazy-night pilgrimage to their favorite pub in the midst of a zombie takeover of London.
