In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Austin Police Department's SCU and the Austin/Travis County SARRT are hosting a special screening of, "An Army of Women". The documentary follows a group of women in Austin, Texas who join forces and help build a movement of plaintiffs legally challenging the system that allowed their rapists to walk free. It is the landmark story of women fighting to hold law enforcement and prosecutors accountable, with resounding relevance worldwide. Panel discussion will follow the movie screening.
