"Sub Anima (Under the Soul)" is a social sculpture, furniture object, and sound piece inspired by, and created in response to, the environment at the Canopy arts complex in East Austin. The work both pays homage to Michael Hsu Architecture's adaptive reuse utilized in the design of the Canopy complex and interrogates the role of art organizations in development projects.
