Watch Scott battle Ramona’s seven exes in this truly one-of-a-kind comic book movie that became a generation of indie kids’ whole personality. With a soundtrack featuring pre-MCU Brie Larson’s iconic cover of Metric’s “Black Sheep” and stellar bang-flash-pow direction from Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead), Michael Cera as the titular diminutive nerd courts Mary Elizabeth Winstead as badass rollerskating delivery girl Ramona Flowers with a different hair color for every day of the week. Every side character is indispensable: Knives Chau, Kim the Girl Drummer, Kieran Culkin as gay roommate Wallace, and Jason Schwartzman and Chris Evans as evil exes. This movie’s got it all and then some. Like a garage rock banger, it’s best enjoyed in a crowded setting. – Lina Fisher
