Every year, Vortex – the vibiest venue – puts on a fundraiser called the Naked Feast. It’s interactive, immersive, and sexy. As the name suggests, it involves a human platter upon which to graze from artful hors d’oeuvres inspired by Salvador Dali’s surrealism. Chef Nic Patrizi offers vegan, meat, gluten-free, and dessert options, as well as a signature Casanova cocktail made from Dali’s own recipe. There will be live music by Ras-I-Dre, Frederico7, and others, tango, live painting, a hookah lounge, a silent auction offering local art, dinners, and services of all kinds, contests, and games – and rumor has it Dali himself will be in attendance.
