Come 2028, Cine Las Americas will celebrate three decades of this amazing film festival’s dedication to promoting Latine/x and Indigenous cinema – and the party starts now at this Sunday fundraiser. From noon-2pm, the nationally renowned Mexican cafe Mercado Sin Nombre will be slinging coffee and desserts, and Teraviva will serve up fresh tacos al pastor, carne asada, birria, cochinita pibil, and seasonal fillings. A silent auction will offer ACL tapings, Austin FC tickets, a taco tour with journalist Mando Rayo, hotel packages for San Antonio and Austin, SXSW badges, and more.
