Riverdance 30: The New Generation

The old-heads will remember the late-Nineties Irish step-dancing craze that had everyone’s feet flying. Well, this ain’t your Michael Flatley’s Riverdance. According to their website, this time the torch-bearing troupe only features dancers “not born when the show began.” Expect the usual kicking and leaping, but don’t be surprised when the Celtic cavalcade breaks free from the strictures of the usually arm-absent art form and manages to raise the roof. – James Renovitch
