Sometimes you just want to be immersed in sound, clouds of it: fluffy clouds, wispy clouds, heavy clouds. Behold, a mystical celebration of the march toward the winter solstice and the slow return of light soon after, a ritual where white clothing and/or fantasy costumes are encouraged but not required, soundtracked by a variety of ambient and experimental music – an evening of clouds. Lucía Beyond’s work blends DJ culture with live instruments; Mooncloud, aka Jacob Bruner, works more in a sound bath vein; and Dreamgoth’s music sometimes drifts and sometimes crashes with New Wavey vocal flourishes.
