For its winter programming, youth-oriented classic-film club Flick Clique is turning to one of the masters, showing three of Alfred Hitchcock’s most beloved films. The series kicks off with one of his funniest and most exciting thrillers that’s inspired dozens of imitations: the Grace Kelly/James Stewart classic about a bored photographer, cooped up with a broken leg and nothing to do but observe the lives outside his apartment window. When he thinks he’s witnessed a murder, he conspires with elegant but down-to-earth girlfriend Lisa (Kelly) and no-nonsense nurse Stella (Thelma Ritter) to Nancy Drew their way to the bottom of the mystery.
