Rattlesnake Milk’s fever-dream psych-country and Sagebrush’s creaky wooden floors: It’s an Austin duo as classic as chips and queso. Tales of vintage desert desperation weave in and out of a haze of electric guitar reverb and set the scene for some great two-stepping. While the Panhandle groovers haven’t put out an album since late 2022, they’ve kept the rhythm fresh this year with consistent touring, including an opening set at Red Rocks this June. It’s a mystery why it took them this long to play the big venues; this weekend is your perfect chance to catch them at a small one while you still can. – Katie Hayes
