The Public Invention Con 2026 will take place between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM on June 13th, 2026. About 100 Public Inventors, technologists, hackers, and crafters from across the US and beyond will arrive in Austin, TX to build community, demo their current projects, and learn about the open-source engineering movement. Live demoes of projects ranging from a ferrofluid pump to a low gravity inertial filter are included. If you are an innovative technologist looking to independently build a project of your own, or simply interested in independent engineering innovation, this event is for you.
