The third entry in Doctuh Mistuh Production’s summer run of shows is a “docu-musical” about the porn industry. Key word there is “about.” It’s not a lurid musical with a sausage-bearing pizza delivery man; it’s a look at the people behind the business. Think more Boogie Nights or The Deuce and less Deep Throat. With a score by late off-Broadway legend Michael Friedman, this niche musical offers a glimpse into the progression of the adult film industry. – Cat McCarrey
