In these works, I explore the tension between abstraction and representation, and between control and chance, mediated through process and painting. Balancing what is deliberate with what emerges unpredictably, I shape both what the viewer perceives and what remains for the imagination to complete. This dynamic mirrors an internal therapeutic process—revisiting and reframing personal narratives to heal and transform. Imagery of nature within domestic spaces becomes a metaphor for memory, grounding emotional resonance in the familiar. Through painting, I investigate how memory can be re-imagined, re-formed, and ultimately reshaped as a means of personal renewal and growth.
