Come celebrate Mehregan, a festival that recognizes love, friendship, and gratitude. Learn about Persian heritage by shopping for handmade crafts and watching cultural performances. While feeding the mind, don’t forget the stomach with kebabs, baklavas, and stews on-site. Bring the kids for some face painting and games, and hopefully they’ll say thanks afterward. If not, they might have missed an important aspect of the fest. – Laura Rivera
