Austin-based singer-songwriter Pascal Kerong’A takes the stage for his first headline show after an unconventional experiment: putting tickets on sale before having a venue. After being asked by venues to prove he could draw an audience, Kerong’A let presales determine whether the show would happen. Thirty-seven tickets sold before the venue was confirmed. Now, backed by a full band, he brings the show to HowMuch?! Studios on September 4. Kerong’A has toured the U.S. with Bill Callahan and performed at venues including Thalia Hall, World Cafe Live, the Masquerade, and the Texas Theatre.
