Independence Brewing celebrates its 21st anniversary this weekend with back-to-back bashes targeting slightly different demos. Kicking things off is Friday night’s Y2K-themed party, boasting spinnage from DJ Ed West and prizes for best costume and best Britney/boy band dances. Meanwhile Saturday night’s anniversary party continues the throwback vibes with an Office Space printer smash (bring your own old office equipment to recycle and enter a raffle to rough up their provided printer), Weezer spins, and a trick contest and open skate on a mini ramp. Soak up the delicious beers with on-site food truck Cockti Juicy Fried Chicken. – Kimberley Jones
