Dog park and dog-owner bar Yard Bar opens the gates one final time this weekend. Their closure was announced in late April with a heartfelt message that called the decision “purely a math problem” and “not a reflection of the deep love we have for this community of team members, people, and pets.” Eleven years of wagging tails get toasted at this farewell party featuring a memory board where patrons can post their pup photos, $5 draft beers, and one last chance to snag a branded hat, pint glass, or dog collar. At 5:30pm, a final toast will be raised with a chance for all dog-lovers to share their favorite YB memory.
