Local Austin Art's nonprofit_OFCOLOR announces its next Creative Departures event: No Phones, Just Art, a phone-free, outdoor art experience at Roy G. Benavidez Guerrero Park. Creative Departures is _OFCOLOR’s monthly community event series, bringing the Austin community together for unique, location-specific art experiences. This month’s theme is radical presence. Attendees are asked to leave their phones behind, or surrender them at the door, and step into a full afternoon of analog creativity. Participants will receive a film camera to document their experience, with free art supplies to create and a soundtrack curated live by DJ Dope Reina.
