Ditch the ball drop and spend the last night of the year with reverb-drenched, neo-psychedelic quartet DAIISTAR. Headlining 13th Floor’s New Year’s Eve celebration for the second year in a row, the homegrown shoegazers know exactly how to pack a textured, space-rock punch. The night’s stacked lineup also features Black Angels guitarist Christian Bland and his fuzzy solo project, Christian Bland & the Revelators. Garage rockers Witches Exist are set to deliver post-punk edge; meanwhile, the unrelenting aggrotech duo Permanent Shadows will bring the electro-industrial heat.
