Noon Year’s Eve Parties

Kids love parties, so it’s sort of criminal how they can’t celebrate NYE in the traditional raucous manner. Or can they? Austin Public Library offers four options for “noon year’s eve” fun where youth ages zero to 10 can dance, eat snacks, and enjoy a big balloon drop – just like big kids (adults) do at midnight! Attend festivities at Terrazas, Windsor Park (featuring a performance by Strawbitty Yops), Little Walnut Creek, and Twin Oaks branch libraries for a nice pre-sunset celebration. – James Scott
