Calling all girls, gays, and theys! After wrapping their 2023 Life’s So Fun tour and opening for Taylor Swift and Lorde, queer pop trifecta MUNA is back onstage with punchy, powerhouse vengeance. Across four studio albums, the trio has forged a sonic mosaic of textures and genres atop a hook-heavy foundation, from flirting with twangy country rhythms to diving headfirst into full-bodied electroclash beats. The Saddest Factory signees’ latest project Dancing on the Wall taps into dark, dance-driven soundscapes with soon-to-be sweat-drenched club staples (“Wannabeher”) and upbeat cuts slick with Eighties glaze (“Eastside Girls”). Guitarist Naomi McPherson will miss the show as they tend to a family loss; in their absence, their bandmates encourage fans to “show their love and support for our sweetest member.” – Miranda Garza
