Ten days of laughs: Can your funny bone handle it? Austin’s premier comedy festival always manages to balance veterans and up-and-comers, exemplified this year by sets from Albert Brooks, Kathy Griffin, Marc Maron, and Leslie Jones alongside appearances from Jena Friedman (Adult Swim’s Soft Focus With Jena Friedman), Scrubs revival star Ava Bunn, and Best of Austin 2025 winner Roxy Castillo. I’m especially stoked for Hacks star Meg Stalter’s headlining set with SNL’s Sarah Sherman; their closing night slot arrives as the ultimate win for the weird girls. – Carys Anderson
