In a real community slam dunk, new basketball courts open this weekend over in the Montopolis area. To celebrate all that spring, summer, and maybe even fall dribbling now on the table, local org Land Justice Community School’s youth fellowship program throws a big ol’ party. There’ll be roller skatin’, potluck chowin’, live spinnin’ by DJ Dream, and – no duh – basketball games (three vs. three). Slip on your sneakers and snap on a sweatband before taking to this new Austin third space. – James Scott
