Meet Marcus Delzell · Austin Artist of the Month
Unchained.Art Contemporary Gallery kicks off its new 'Austin Artist of the Month' program with multidisciplinary artist Marcus Delzell. Each month, one Austin artist outside the gallery's represented roster co-curates a dedicated wall, presenting a month-long mini exhibition. On September 6, Delzell joins us from 12 to 4PM to introduce his work and talk about his practice. His compositions investigate identity, perception, and the tension between authenticity and performance. Drawing on Greek mythology and the metaphor of the mask, he examines the human psyche. Several paper-based drawings will be shown publicly for the first time. Free, RSVP or drop-ins welcome.
