New thriller Last Night Was Killer is about one of those, with protagonist Tilly Turner waking up to a dead body in the trunk and no idea how he got there. Local author Mary Pauline Lowry has penned a fun and fascinating tale about a newly single mom just trying to let loose after pole dancing class, and brings the book to her own neighborhood book shop to celebrate with a talk hosted by journalist and podcast host Maurice Chammah.
