The Marmen Quartet, winner of first prizes at the Bordeaux and Banff International String Quartet Competitions, joins pianist Anna Petrova at The Mansion. The program includes Haydn, Ligeti’s Métamorphoses nocturnes, Caroline Shaw’s Schisma, Debussy’s String Quartet and Franck’s Piano Quintet. The concert caps an educational outreach week bringing world-class artistry into Austin schools and communities. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and an open bar; the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
