Austin filmmakers Peter S. Hall and Paul Gandersman found a new sick twist on small-town Texas horror with their debut feature, Man Finds Tape. A cosmic horror with an Evangelical twist, this dark story of estranged siblings has them discover that the place they called home is filled with strange secrets. Since the feature arrives in theatres this weekend, courtesy of Magnolia, the cast and crew will be hosting a total of six special hometown screenings, where they’ll unpack and explore this new addition to Austin’s horror canon. – Richard Whittaker
