Billing itself as Austin’s “premier Occult burlesque collective,” Malum Malus returns for its annual blast of fall weather witchlesque. Celebrating Samhain, an ancient Gaelic festival marking the end of harvest and the slide into moodier, gloomier winter, the 18+ performance art piece is masterminded by Blaise Ricin and runs six nights only at its regular home base, the Vortex. The veil between worlds is supposedly the thinnest during this Pagan holiday... and you can reasonably expect dancers to drop some veils, too. – Kimberley Jones
