Lucyspin (EP release), Valice, French Film [inside]

Fresh-faced indie rockers Lucyspin have been playing together for nearly a decade, and they’re finally putting down some of their punk-infused tracks for posterity. The quartet’s debut EP blends pop-punk vocals with classic guitar rhythms and metallic delay tones. In a stark contrast to their rollicking first single, “Worst Company,” you’ll find the band inside at Mohawk Saturday alongside grunge-inspired indie pop outfit Valice and melodic shoegazers French Film, still riding the high of their own debut EP release earlier this month. – Caroline Drew
