Being the central vein of a nature-loving city is no simple undertaking, but Lady Bird Lake, under any name, has always been up to the task. Before Earth Day celebrates an entire planet, the axis of Austin could use a day of pampering all to herself. Spend a couple hours walking her swampy shores or sailing on her easygoing waves like you might on any sunny Saturday, but armed with a trash grabber and a sturdy bag.
