At this third annual Evermore benefit for bereavement resources, Texan songwriters are gathering to spread the love. The night starts with singing philanthropist Sara Hickman, whose sunshine folk voice and keyed ballads sound like a warm hug. The fundraiser for the nonprofit, which aims to enact more humane policies for those in grief, closes with the funky humor of Shinyribs, whose 2020 funk/blues cover of “Bitch Better Have My Money” was the perfect audition for a benefit concert like this one. – Flora Belle Farr
