A live music and storytelling experience rooted in Sephardic Jewish song, women’s voices, and the power of shared presence. Vocalist Dana Lewis is joined by a stellar Austin Chronicle recognized band including: Music Award winners Roberto Riggio and Jose Tejeda of Atash, award winning vibraphonist Carolyn Trowbridge, and Best Bassist nominee Dana Wygmans. The concert brings Ladino songs to life through traditional melodies and modern reimaginings. Shaped by Spanish, Hebrew, Arabic, Moroccan, Turkish, Greek, and more, Ladino songs reflect centuries of shared life. Drawing on a tradition born of coexistence, the concert welcomes people of all backgrounds, faiths, and cultures.
