For its 10th season, artists and zine fans gather to celebrate their indie and self-published creations. You’ll see booths ranging from The Rag to Austin History Center and be able to meet with creators and even walk away with your very own zine. The festival is free to attend and organized by Austin Zine Friends, a local nonprofit supporting zine artists. [Editor’s note: As much as brevity is the soul of wit, I must add to this short event description that this year’s zine fest theme is Eighties Prom. If the spirit moves you, come dressed in your most over-the-top taffeta and polyester outfits.] – Charlie Sharpe
