Lindsey Lascaux: "I'm Having a Panic Attack"
When: Thu., Oct. 23, 6-9 p.m. 2025
Lindsey Lascaux’s latest exhibit puts pictures to the universal feeling in the air: Yes, “I’m Having a Panic Attack.” Her paintings and sculptures evoke the tension between all-encompassing darkness and the elusive dream of hope. It’s a two-pronged visual approach. Some works are torrential scenes elevated by Disney-fied elements bringing sunshine and rainbows into a stormy sphere. Others show idyllic images subtly marred with distressing details on the peripherals. All speak to how we cope with constant, crushing stress. Join the artist this Thursday for the opening of this emotional experience. – Cat McCarrey
