To send off Women’s History Month, the Mexican American Civil Rights Institute and MonteVideo have curated a lineup of Latina and Indigenous women-directed short films. These shorts span multiple countries in their origins, with selections from France, Mexico, and the U.S. Along with six award-winning watches, Thursday’s program includes a post-screening Q&A with two featured filmmakers, Karina Lomelin Ripper (“There’s a Devil Inside Me”) and Chelsea Hernandez (“An Uncertain Future”), moderated by Sharon Arteaga. – James Scott
