Before the curtain falls for the next 11 months, the Paramount is opening its doors to all. The original 1915 fire curtain will be on display and the theatre invites all to return back to that year, with happy hour prices to match. In 1974, the original fire curtain was found hanging in the rafters in perfect condition, protected from light and other elements for over 50 years. Maybe they’ll discover another artifact during renovations, and in 50 years people will gather for a 2026 happy hour. Just maybe. – Rina Laby
