Ujamaa, meaning "cooperative economics," is celebrated on the fourth day of Kwanzaa, so the Carver hosts an outdoor market featuring Black vendors (noon-4pm), followed by Nigerian appetizer samples from Tailat Kitchen and a fun, educational program with Elizabeth Kahura leading activities at the Boyd Vance Theatre (6:30pm).
