Kwanzaa at the Carver: Celebrating Imani

Join the Carver and emcee Darren Hyson for a night celebrating the seventh of the Nguzo Saba, aka the principles of Kwanzaa. Imani, or faith, represents “a profound and enduring belief in and commitment to all that is of value to us as a family, community, people and culture,” according to the Carver. To honor and encourage that dedication to Black community, there’ll be music and dance performances, food from the African diaspora, and the museum’s first-ever Kwanzaa fashion show. – James Scott
