our cover feature, now experience the return IRL! After a multi-year renovation period, the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center reopens with a free family-friendly celebration of this space “deeply rooted in community, culture, and the vibrant traditions that shape Austin.” Activities include live music, hands-on art workshops, a community resource fair, food trucks all day, an Latine-centric artisan market, and, of course, tours of the MACC’s redux’d digs.
