There are several ways around the city to celebrate Juneteenth, the holiday honoring the delayed freedom of enslaved people in Texas following the Civil War. This afternoon at the library welcomes all ages for free, family-friendly fun. Celebrate community, culture, and creativity with live African drummers and dancers, arts & crafts, and interactive puppet show, local vendors, refreshments, a community art gallery, and a live DJ set from Music Anthology. Bring the whole family for a joyful event presented by OutReach Productions and the George Washington Carver Museum. – Kat McNevins
