Rolling Stone has named him among the “100 Greatest Guitarists.” The Lifetime Grammy-winning Rock & Roll Hall of Famer was a founding member of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna, with whom he still performs. Some 60 years ago as a Bay Area folkie, Jorma drank the Kool-Aid, plugged in, and helped change the sound of popular music forever. In 1989 he “settled down” at his Fur Peace Ranch in southeast Ohio to play, teach, and nest while touring constantly. At 85, Jorma is one of our premier interpreters of American roots music. He’ll be accompanied by fellow picker John Hurlbut, with whom he recorded 2024’s One More Lifetime. – Jay Trachtenberg
