For the 25th anniversary of their iconic emo album Bleed American, Jimmy Eat World is dusting off and polishing up a fiercely beloved past. Their current website design follows suit: The tidy description at the top of the delightfully vintage, MySpace-style layout beckons, “If you were ever in the crowd singing along to these songs with us, this tour is for you.” Alongside math rock mainstays Minus the Bear and El Paso post-hardcore pioneers Sparta, Jimmy Eat World will bring their arsenal of anthems to the Moody Amphitheater this Wednesday. The songs are old enough to rent a car, but the sound has never rung truer. – Katie Hayes
