If you’ve noticed city parks are in need of some TLC, come get your hands dirty. The Austin Parks Foundation hosts its biannual day of service where residents assist with litter cleanup, tree mulching, and invasive species removal. You’ll also get to pal around with other nature lovers. Come dressed to sweat and don’t forget the SPF, but tools will be provided, so don’t worry about stopping by the supply store. – Laura Rivera
