If what to do on Saturday is bugging you, consider crawling over to Gunther Street. Leah Danze, along with collaborators Aída Reyes, Hamidreza Fallahi, Plumegirl, and Terri Mash, perform the world of insects – amalgamating dance, music, and paintings by Danze themself. These creatures often considered lower than humans are given their proper due as the project asks its audience to take bugs’ life seriously and perhaps even learn from them “about surviving systems that seek to contain, and eradicate.” With shows at 7:30 and 9pm, you’ve got two chances to wiggle your way into empathy with our entomological neighbors. – James Scott
