Since their days on the sweltering stage of Hotel Vegas to their current reign over Third and Chicon, Hyperreal’s kept up a pretty hardy short film program with bite-sized flicks playing ahead of almost every feature screening. They celebrate the marvelous mini movies produced by our local Texas community with a two-day spread of screenings. Friday starts ya with a 90-minute jury-selected suite of 2025’s short-form finest. Closing out the fun is Saturday’s mixer, where filmmakers, industry pros, Hyperreal members, and YOU will bump elbows while catching the top locally filmed music videos from last year. – James Scott
